LIVE ON ZOOM, IT'S SHAVUOT NIGHT LIVE
Thursday, May 28 starting at 6:30 pm

Join together with us virtually for services and live Zoom sessions led by our clergy, educators, community teachers and professionals. The evening begins with a young family Shavuot program at 6:30 pm followed by live study sessions throughout the evening until the early hours of the morning. All of our study sessions will take place in two Zoom rooms, while our Shavuot services and family program can be found on their regular zoom meeting rooms.

How has a mom from Montana become a leader in fighting anti-Semitism? The founder of a major neo-Nazi website orchestrated a harassment campaign launching a troll storm relentlessly terrorizing Tanya Gersh and her family with anti-Semitic threats and message for months. The threats took an emotional, physical, social, financial and professional toll on Tanya and her family, but Tanya fought back. The Southern Poverty Law Center filed suit in federal court on behalf of Tanya, winning a more than $14 million judgment against the neo-Nazi leader and shut them down.

During the Egyptian leadership of GamalAbdul Nasser, many families were forced to flee Egypt, and settled in this part of France. Susan Wyner lived with one of these families in Avignon in 1969.
