B'nai Jeshurun is a full service facility with the clergy and staff available to help you plan and commemorate your family's life cycle events at the synagogue, in your home or at an outside location. Our large, kosher kitchen is always available for your affair, along with an approved list of kosher caterers. All food, wines and liquors brought into the synagogue must be kosher and certified with a hechsher (symbol) recognized by our clergy. Please visit our Kashruth Rules Page for more information.
For a wedding, choose from the David J. & Ruth A. Moskowitz Sanctuary, or a more intimate affair in Nickman Chapel. We have two social halls - The Rosenthal Auditorium and Halpern Hall - that will come to life with your simcha - from a wedding reception to a Brit Milah, a Simhat Bat (ritual baby naming), a Pidyon Haben or a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. In the warm-weather months, our outdoor Friedman Courtyard Chapel in the Linden Ceremonial Court as well as the Abraham Family Courtyard and Moskowitz Family Sukkah are other beautiful choices.
Additional Facilities:
Our Bessie Hershey Religious School facilities include the Berman-Lippa Family Wing and Gross High School. The Gottlieb Auditorium is available for events and programs. Our well-equipped Moskowitz Family Hebrew Language Learning Lab includes computers with internet access for student and teacher use. We also have two staffed libraries: the Jacobson Library and the Dennis Children's Library and Learning Center, which our students visit regularly to enhance their studies. Our beautiful Gross Atrium and the Simon Gathering Area are large open spaces used for assemblies, receptions and other large gatherings.

Ariela Sharon Yomtovian is leading a storytelling workshop! Hide and Seek, a journey into the story of Adam and Eve, is a 6 part series, open to all, that will explore how we interact with Jewish text. Our time will be spent getting to know the story's characters and observing the way we relate to them. When we gather, we will focus on the way we connect to the text and why. We will use various art mediums to reveal aspects of the story and of ourselves that we may have not noticed before. The hope is that everyone who participates walks away with a new perspective on the story of Adam and Eve and with a whole bag of helpful resources to use when engaging with other Jewish sources. -
