The Edna and Nat Marcus Leadership Institute was created through the generosity of Herbert & Cookie Marcus and Martin & Lois Marcus to honor the memory of their parents. Edna and Nat thought of B’nai Jeshurun as their spiritual home for nearly 50 years. This Leadership Institute is an 18 month program, which seeks to identify and train emerging leadership within the synagogue.

The Edna and Nat Marcus Leadership Institute was created through the generosity of Herbert and Cookie Marcus and Martin and Lois Marcus to honor the memory of their parents. Edna and Nat Marcus thought of B’nai Jeshurun Congregation as their spiritual home for nearly fifty years. It was a relationship that was a blessing to them and to us. They were always among the first to share in any effort to advance the programs of the Congregation. The Leadership Institute will enable selected members of the Congregation to advance their leadership skills for the benefit of all members of B’nai Jeshurun. Through this new program, we hope to be ever worthy of the trust that the Marcus family placed in us.
