Mahar
Give to the Mahar Campaign
Make your gift online
To make a Mahar pledge/donation, contact Joscelyn Harris at 216-831-6555, extension 105 or make a gift online. Please note that Mahar donations cannot be made in memory or in honor of a loved one.
Mahar, our annual giving campaign, supports our synagogue’s on-going operations.
Without Mahar, much of what we do would simply not be possible, and there are so many reasons to consider giving. Give because you found comfort at a minyan when mourning a loss or remembering a loved one no longer with us. Give because of the wonderful time you had at a Purim Megillah reading or Purim carnival. Give because of an inspiring speaker you heard. Give because of services you attended that you found particularly meaningful or because of a sermon you heard that brought you a new perspective. Give because your kids came home from a USY event and couldn't wait to go back to the next one.
The Mahar Campaign allows you to be philanthropic in your support of your spiritual home each and every year.
The giving levels for Mahar are:
Moses: $10,000 and above
Abraham & Sarah: $5,000 - $9,999
Rashi: $3,600 - $4,999
Isaac & Rebecca: $1,800 - $3,599
Maimonides: $1,118 - $1,799
Aaron: $720 - $1,117
Jacob, Rachel & Leah: $540 - $719
Ruth: $360 - $539
Elijah: $180 - 359
Miriam: $118 - 179
Hillel: up to $117
Each gift to the campaign is vitally important and truly appreciated. We thank you very much for your generosity and support.
