Neshama Body & Soul

Rabbi Jaymee Alpert is passionate about exploring the connection between spirituality and physical activity. She is the co-creator of Neshama Body & Soul, a practice that combines exercise with Jewish prayer, and has created Shabbat morning hiking services. Prior to moving to Seattle in 2023, she spent 20 years as a congregational rabbi and was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary. She currently sits on the Conservative Movement’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards and on the board of Lilith Magazine, and is a certified fitness trainer and life coach.

Participate in a NBS session. Afterwards, we will hear how Rabbi Jaymee developed this innovative program, achieving a fusion of spirituality and exercise. Healthy snacks and smoothies will be provided.
