This meeting is to update us and to develop an action plan for a solution. We will cover:
• The problem of unjustly jailing people before trial, mostly because they are black or brown and/or poor; 
•  A potential solution (specifically pretrial services, including bail changes); and 
•  GCC’s important role in stopping the injustice.
The current system hurts people every day and the public pays for unjustly jailing people without any increase in public safety. Everyone is welcome to attend.  Register here.
