B'nai Jeshurun

Start the morning off with a mitzvah! For the month of January, we will be making lunch bags that will include peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and other snacks that will be donated to the St. Herman House. Our goal is to come together once a month and make a difference. Open to all ages who are ready to lend a hand to help the Cleveland community. This is a great family mitzvah opportunity!
Contact Meryl Kramer Brown or Lauren Freiman your Chesed Kindness Crew co-chairs,                                                                                                                    to learn more.

Where Do We Go from Here:
Chaos or Community?

Monday, January 20
10:00 am - Noon
Olivet Institutional Baptist Church
(8712 Quincey Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44104)

Join us for a GCC Prophetic Conversation.

In 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., isolated himself from the demands of the civil rights movement, rented a house in Jamaica with no telephone, and labored over his final manuscript. In that prophetic work, he laid out his thoughts, plans, and dreams for America's future, including the need for better jobs, higher wages, decent housing, and quality education, and here we are today? With a universal message of hope that continues to resonate, King demanded an end to global suffering, asserting that humankind-for the first time-has the resources and technology to eradicate poverty.

Children and Youth are encouraged to attend: We will have programming for Elementary aged children, Pre-teens, and Teenagers at this event.
