Hanukkah Themed:
Midrash is a form of rabbinic commentary that comes in two forms, halakhah (law) and aggadah (narrative). Both, in their own way, offer guidance as to how to live a meaningful Jewish life. In these sessions, we will explore aggadah - the rabbinic tales that have impacted me on a soul level. My hope is that through our learning and discussions together, we will discover stories to live by - stories that stir the soul, inspire growth, and help us find ourselves in our ancient texts. This is a hybrid class and participants are encouraged to come in person. Lunch will be provided; voluntary donations welcome to cover costs. Zoom,
