Experience Tashlikh as we gather at three scenic locations around Cleveland for ceremonies where we will seek to cast our sins away and earn God's forgiveness as we approach the Jewish New Year.   

Hear the shofar at each location!

We will provide the prayer books.

The Shaker Lakes Nature Center is home to the newly renovated ADA accessible All People's Trail consisting of a 1/3 elevated mile boardwalk that offers natures access for people of all abilities. It winds through the forest, over the Doan Brook, and overlooks the marsh and Lower Shaker Lake. There will also be a family component during this program and you will have an opportunity to see Jimmy's Treehouse that just opened in July. Families will receive more information about the family program soon, but everyone is welcome to join us for the Tashlikh service. You can park in the main Shaker Lakes Nature Center parking lot and we will meet at the entrance of the All People's Trail at the parking lot. This park is on Main Street at the bridge, opposite the popcorn store and the Falls. The park stretches from the street back along the river. There are steps and a riverbank at the water's edge to say Tashlikh. The park also has a beautiful lawn with trees, picnic tables and a playground. The falls are across the street, popcorn, ice cream and lots of shopping and eateries nearby. Park on Main Street or a cross street, or in the lot behind the Falls. Learn more

Sims Park features one of the most picturesque beaches on Lake Erie, with three small coves and a new concrete pier, all of which make great locations for tashlikh. The park features grassy lawns with big trees, flowers, benches overlooking the water, picnic areas and a playground. There are a variety of eateries and take out along Lakeshore Boulevard.
