Thought balloon - What people are saying

The challenge has been made!

If 100+ Mahar pledges/ donations are made between December 13-20, a group of synagogue leaders will make an enhanced gift to the campaign! Annual philanthropic support from our donors makes B’nai Jeshurun the inspirational, supportive, and nurturing place that it is!  Please consider making a gift to Mahar this year if you haven't already done so, whether $18 or $1,800. Count me in

Through the efforts of the synagogue’s Inclusion Committee, arrangements have been made with Jewish Family Service Association ("JFSA") to provide transportation to and from the synagogue for members who are unable to attend Shabbat morning services due to transportation issues. This JFSA van service will be operated by JFSA twice a month free of charge as a pilot project, funded through the generosity of the Joel Schwarz Memorial Chesed Fund and JFSA donor funds, starting in November and running through mid-May 2018. For more information click here.

Legacy Society

"As my father planted for me, so do I plant for my children." Talmud, Ta'anit
B'nai Jeshurun Legacy Society members are dedicated to ensuring the future of our beloved synagogue for generations to come though support of our endowment. Whether an outright gifts during your lifetime or a bequest upon your passing, endowed support provides a lasting legacy and an enduring impact. Contact Development Director Kim Cole to discuss creating your legacy gift, to let us know you have already included the synagogue in your estate plans, or to learn more about the Legacy Society.

With the support of a generous donor, the synagogue is now streaming programs and services from The David J. Moskowitz Sanctuary and Nickman Chapel.
