Eat and engage at Mind-Full Shabbat, a new and exciting way to connect with congregants, the community and meaningful Jewish and community topics. Shabbat services are followed by a catered dinner, fine wine and interactive adult conversation with a dynamic speaker.

Featuring Jeremy Umansky, owner of Larder Delicatessen & Bakery, a semifinalist in the national Best New Restaurant category from the James Beard Foundation. He is the son of our members Joanne & Dan Umansky and the grandson of Phyllis & Jules Bookatz z”l, longtime catering chair and past president respectively. He is a farmer, wild food forager, food rights activist, chef, food writer, and zymologist.
Jeremy will share how his Jewish heritage and upbringing led him to develop Larder’s concept, which includes curating his own meats and foraging.
