On the night before Passover Jews are obligated to search their homes for hametz. This year, due to Shabbat it will take place on Thursday, March 25. We want our BJC family to experience this tradition together. Therefore, we are providing our members a “bedikat hametz kit" containing all the supplies necessary for the search. You can pick up your kit outside the synagogue on March 21 between 11am-Noon (while supplies last.) Then join us on March 25 with your kit to take part in this mitzvah. We will search through our homes on Zoom for hametz and prepare for Passover together. Please Zoom by phone, tablet or laptop so you can walk around your home with your device.
