AmazonSmile - Support B'nai Jeshurun

What if you could make a difference at
B'nai Jeshurun with your online shopping? AmazonSmile helps you do just that!

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate a percentage of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to B'nai Jeshurun.  AmazonSmile offers all of the same items, prices, and benefits of its sister website, but with one distinct difference.  When users shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation contributes a percentage of eligible purchases to the charity of your choice. Especially for frequent Amazon users, this additional perk is a great way to give back to charities effortlessly.

On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you are prompted to select a charitable organization from our list of eligible organizations. (You can change your selection at any time.) For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to our shul.

How to Set Up AmazonSmile

1. Visit smile.amazon.com
Go to https://smile.amazon.com  The entire shopping experience is the same and most products available on amazon.com are available at Amazon Smile.

2. Sign In and Choose Your Charity
The screen will look slightly different depending upon whether or not you’re already signed into Amazon. Simply search for “B'nai Jeshurun Congregation,” making sure to select the B'nai Jeshurun in Pepper Pike.  If you’re not signed in yet, enter your Amazon account email and password. Then select "B'nai Jeshurun Congregation" as described above.  Once selected, you will receive an email confirmation and you can begin shopping.

3. Shop!
Once you’ve selected your charity, everything else functions the same. Shop for your favorite products or the perfect gift. You can checkout normally as well. No extra cost is passed onto you – Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase to B'nai Jeshurun.  

4. Bookmark smile.amazon.com
Don't forget to do your future Amazon shopping through smile.amazon.com  Your shopping through this webpage will now support B'nai Jeshurun each time you visit.  Note that you can shop at AmazonSmile from the web browser on your computer or mobile device but it cannot be used on the Amazon app. 

5. Share with Others
After you’ve successfully completed a purchase on AmazonSmile, you can share the news with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via email. This option appears on the confirmation page after your order is complete.
